We concentrate on the basic ability to communicate in English in a limited range of simple everyday situations. ILC Spoken English course “English in Action” is a comprehensive preparation course designed to help you to speak English with correct pronunciation and proper delivery skills. End of the course you will converse fluently and gain confidence with your friends and subordinates.

For School leavers who are looking to proceed to "certificate level" and adult students who are looking to proceed to “Spoken English Professional level”. No prior knowledge or qualifications are necessary.

IELTS

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an examination that tests your English ability in academic contexts. It provides proof that you have the English language skills necessary to study at a university in the UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

The Examination Involves

  • Listening - This is a test of listening comprehension in the context of general language proficiency.
  • Reading - The Academic Reading module consists of texts of general interest dealing with issues which are appropriate for, and accessible to, candidates entering postgraduate or undergraduate courses.
  • Writing - Appropriate responses for the Academic Writing module are short essays or general reports, addressed to tutors or to an educated non-specialist audience.
  • Speaking - The Speaking Module consists of an oral interview between the candidate and an examiner. There are three main parts. Each part fulfils a specific function in terms of interaction pattern, task input and candidate output.

The upper levels, Expert and Mastery are recognised by many English speaking universities as evidence of language proficiency for entry purposes. When taken as part of the International ESOL Diploma, it is recognised by the UK Border Agency as an approved English language test.
